Stratford International is the closest station the the Olympic stadium, Olympic park and the Olympic Village. There are frequent high speed services from Ebbsfleet International, Kent and St Pancras International, Camden. High Speed 1 is working alongside Transport for London and the Department for Transport for the travel arrangements for the 2012 Games.

The high speed 'Javelin' service, which will shuttle between main high speed 1 stations such as St Pancras International, Stratford International and Ebbsfleet International, will transport thousands of expected spectators, travellers and tourists to and from the Olympic Park, high speed 1 transport services have been planned for potential 800,000 spectators per day expected to attend the London Olympics. The Javelin train is expected to travel from St Pancras International to Stratford International in just 7 minutes.
