St Pancras station is the main international station located in London, just down the road is Kings Cross station and a 10 minute walk away is Euston station.
There are many status and monuments that represent the station including:
The Meeting Place is the name of a status located at St Pancras International; it is a tall 9 metres bronze status, created by the world renowned sculptor Paul Day. The sculptor stand underneath the St Pancras Clock. | |
Another statue is the Betjeman statue, which was built in memory of Sir John Betjeman who was responsible for saving the station and the chambers from demolition in the 1960’s. The statue was built by Martin Jennings, the poet has been honoured with a seven foot high bronze statue. | |
The St Pancras Clock was re constructed by its original makers, and hangs in the Barlow shed. | |
